Ben Phelps

Ben is veteran teacher of the public education system of Virginia.  He has taught in Isle of Wight County for 25 years.  His primary area of focus is World History One.  While at Smithfield High School, Ben taught three sections of WH1 consecutively for 10 years.  His SOL scores averaged above 95%.  He currently teaches at Windsor High School where his scores are consistently above 95%. Ben thrives in educating students with low reading skills.  His approach is functional and inspiring.  He uses a variety of methods in teaching World History One.  He employs info graphics, drawing, and geography skills to ensure that all his students - even those with below grade reading skills - attain a high level of success.
